Geography: Home is Veneto, Northern Italy.



Viticulture: Grown in the Adige Valley north of Verona and east of Lake Garda.

Varietal/Blend: Main constituent of Valpolicella.

Flavor & Character: Predominant cherry flavor.

Vinification: Bulk production tends to compromise quality.

Style: Low tannin, simple easy drinking.

Body, Dry/Sweet: Bittersweet and light bodied. Low in tannin.

Notes: The main grape used in the production of Valpolicella and Bardolino.
